Flounder Brewing Co's Debbie

I am drinking a Debbie by Flounder Brewing Co @ Montgomery Hills.

I had it with blackened salmon and steams vegetables. Delicious.

  • Beer: Debbie

  • Alcohol by volume (ABV): 5.8%
  • IBU: 0
  • My rating: 45
  • Brewer's notes: Golden in color with a kiss of Rosé, our Pomegranate Saison is a tribute to the spirit of adventure and to the soul of an angel. Flavors of sweet pomegranate and cracked white peppercorn captain the plane, guiding you through clouds of its meringue head. Breathe in the scent of crisp citrus and wild berries as you descend from cruising altitude. With a pleasant tart finish to end your journey, your landing will be comfortably dry. Rest assure, no matter your destination, Debbie will be there guiding your way.

Troon Brewing's Neither Pine nor Apple: Discuss

I am drinking a Neither Pine nor Apple: Discuss by Troon Brewing @ Montgomery Hills. My wife and daughter are out shopping. We have a Hindu wedding to attend in just a few weeks so I am on my own for a few hours. Sci-Fi channel or Apple TV? Or more Troon?

  • Beer: Neither Pine nor Apple: Discuss
  • Style: IPA - Imperial / Double
  • Alcohol by volume (ABV): 9.5%
  • IBU: 0
  • My rating: 45
  • Brewer's notes: This beer is brewed with lactose and refermented on a ridiculous amount of pineapple (15% of the total volume of the batch to be exact) before being dryhopped with Simcoe lupulin powder and Citra. Contrary to our expectations the pineapple actually clarified this beer and left it with the beautiful, ever so slightly hazy appearance you see above. More beer-like than our previous smoothies, but less IPA than our hoppy beers.

WE DO NOT HAVE A TAPROOM AT THE BREWERY BUT 100% OF OUR DRAUGHT BEER GOES TO BRICK FARM TAVERN WHICH IS ON THE SAME PROPERTY. WE DO NOT HAVE TAPS AT THE BREWERY, WE DO NOT FILL GROWLERS, WE DO NOT OPEN UNLESS WE HAVE PRE-FILLED, 32OZ CANS OF OUR LATEST BEER. WE RARELY RELEASE MORE THAN ONE BEER PER WEEK, WHICH MEANS THE ACTUAL BREWERY IS RARELY OPEN MORE THAN ONE DAY A WEEK.

I could be editing photos from my visit to the Duke Farms Orchid Range on Friday but ... I think I just want to sit and relax with a Troon ale.
