Happy Birthday to me.

Today was my birthday. I took the day off so that I could sleep in and catch up on some Netflix. Bhavana made me breakfast, and later we had lunch at the One 53 in Rocky Hill. Today was the last day of the lobster and beer special. After lunch, we took a stroll along the Delaware & Raritan. The air was cold even though the sun shone brightly through the trees.

We did a few errands before coming home to wait for the kids. Shaan knows I'm not too fond of paper cards, so this year he used Keynote to make me a card. Wow! Kiran made her own funny and gross birthday card. I love those kids.

For dinner, we ate in from the local Burger King and finished up our night with the ZooKeeper movie. I had a good day.

Shaan’s 8th Birthday at Oliver Garden

Shaan always chooses Olive Garden for his birthday celebrations. He eats as many mini baguette rolls as his little stomach can hold. Today he is eight.

Shaan's 5th Birthday

Shaan celebrated his 5th birthday recently. My goodness, he is growing up so fast. He insisted that everything be blue. We had a blue cake with blue frosting and blue balloons, and all the guests were asked to wear blue. The kids had a blast making their own personalised cups cakes. They decorated their train-shaped mini-cakes with icing and various kinds of candy. Edible artwork. Yummy.

Near the end of the evening, we went out to the front porch to blow bubbles. They were some giant bubbles.
