Barebottle Brewing Company Coconut Confidential

I am in drinking Coconut Confidential by Barebottle Brewing Company, a Micro Brewery in San Francisco. Coconut Confidential is an Cream Ale, with an ABV of 5.1 and IBU of 20. I gave this beer a 3.75 on Untappd’s 5 point rating system.

October Morning on Blue Spring Road

On my way back from Carnegie Lake, I wanted to capture the sunlight coming up on the line of maple trees on a section of Blue Spring Road. I took a photo of this same line of trees a year ago almost to the day. I wanted to re-create the image with my Fuji. Last years photo was taken with my iPhone 7.

My luck ran out. By the time I had parked and walked back to the line of trees, thick clouds had filled the sky. Completely. There was no magical dramatic light hitting the trees. Just flat light. Argh.

I took a set of photos, combined in Photo Matix Pro and pushed the colours. It's ok. It's not what I wanted. Perhaps the bad weather will be delayed to Saturday and perhaps I will get another chance tomorrow.

Dark City Brewing Company Charrette

I am in drinking Charrette by Dark City Brewing Company, a Micro Brewery in Asbury Park. Charrette is an IPA - Rye, with an ABV of 7.3 and IBU of 73. I gave this beer a 3.75 on Untappd’s 5 point rating system.

Our Rye IPA. Hops and yeast work hand-in-hand to provide tropical fruit flavors with a hint of spice.
