52 Week Smartphone Challenge: Week 8: Leading Lines

This image was also used for my 365 Day Project but is the best example of leading lines from that week's images. I was lucky wit this image. Even the clouds were in on the game, with little lines of vapour leading toward the lower Manhattan skyline.

I like Frank Jansen's image of Back Bay Station. Elizabeth leads us on a hike into the hills and Thief mage Photography takes us on a walk on the beach. The Only D800 in the Hameau shows us the lines near a little bridge over a small tributary of the Vienne river.

52 Week Smartphone Challenge: Week 7: Love Story

Bhavna and I made a mutual decision some time ago that we would not celebrate any commercial holiday, i.e. holidays created by industries to drive consumption and spending. As I write this blog post, it's Friday 14 February, Valentines Day, and we plan on doing what we enjoy doing. We visited one of our favourite local breweries, Flounder Brewing, for a flight of beer and chocolate.

52 Week Smartphone Challenge: Week 6: #NoFilter

📷 The only editing allowed is basic exposure so I stuck to that and adjusted the exposure in Adobe Lightroom to -1. It was a challenge because I really wanted to bring out the colour in the sky. The iPhone 11 Pro 1.54mm f/2.4 back camera is roughly 35mm full-frame equivalent of 12mm. I also adjusted for lens distortion.
