It’s incredible how many enjoyable things I can do in one day.
I had a fulfilling day with plenty of enjoyable activities. I started my morning at Carnegie Lake, followed by a visit to Dog Run Bar at Brick Farm Tavern to try out Troon Brewing's latest beers. Later, I went to Revival Barber Shop in Hillsborough for a haircut. I picked up some Indian food from the nearby restaurant. On my way home, I stopped by Flounder Brewing and enjoyed a pint of their latest ale while having lunch.
We’re not a Christian household, so today, we’ll use our forced day off to eat Chinese takeout and watch Marvel movies. For those that do celebrate, Happy Holy Days.
I learned about the word Gemütlichkeit while reading an article about German beer gardens. According to Wikipedia:
Gemütlichkeit is a German-language word used to convey the idea of a state or feeling of warmth, friendliness, and good cheer. Other qualities encompassed by the term include cosiness, peace of mind, and a sense of belonging and well-being springing from social acceptance.
This word describes how I feel when I visit Flounder Brewing.
This frame is another from a 35mm roll of Lomography Color 100, which I exposed over the summer. I used my Minolta XD-11 and MD Rokkor-X a lot this summer.
