People seek out evidence to support their existing beliefs and discount evidence contrary to those beliefs.

I’m reminded of something my Dad used to say (sternly) every time one of us kids jumped up from the dinner table to answer the phone. “That thing is there for our convenience…not the rest of the world’s!”

The uncopyright mindset is that of someone who gives without any guarantee of profit, who lets go of ownership and believes the world owns his creation.
