Nomad Pizza

I discovered this image from 2013 while cleaning up my VSCO gallery. My wife had a dinner date planned with my son so I planned a dinner date with my then 13-year-old daughter, Kiran. She chose Nomad Pizza. We talked about her hopes for the new school year.

It is sad, but hopefully it will change soon.

What a great idea, each parent taking a child out for a diner date.

    1. I wish we could do that now. Alas, neither of my children feel comfortable out with the current state of things.

Is that a Fiat 500 wagon? I didn't know they made those!

    1. Hi Jim. It’s a Fiat 500 Giardiniera, a wagon version of the Fiat 500. I don’t know the story behind this particular car but Nomad Pizza started out with original owner Thomas Grim making pizzas in a brick oven he mounted on a 1949 REO Speedwagon and drove to parties and events, earning it its name as a nomad.

That's a great opening. Makes us wonder how Kiara is today, how her life went on... Lovely photo too! 🙂
    Wishing you a lovely weekend,
