I had a rough few days with my left eye. At my last visit with the eye specialist at Wills Eye, I was told that the pressure in both eyes had reduced. However, both eyes were suffering from dryness. I was advised to use Systane Ultra and Refresh Octave as often as once every hour. Each night I have lubricated my eyes with an ointment to keep them from drying out.
My eyes felt better this morning, but this evening the dryness feels worse despite heavy use of the artificial tears. I was in pain at dinner, and I am in pain now. I want this all to be over, but it seems I have to be patient. It could take months (or years) to resolve my Graves Eye Disease.
i feel that. i have sjogren's syndrome and there's no cure...
