I forgot to answer you question about iCloud. I have an iCloud account. iCloud offers similar services to Gmail, Google Contacts, Google Calendar, Google Docs/Drive, and Picassa. I have moved my calendar, contacts, some email, and all my cloud documents to iCloud.

However, my future state will be to run my own cloud services. I don't want to build my house on someone else's property.
