But ... also from the Wikipedia:

In the late 2000s, many users on internet forums and social media defined the term [Virtue Signaling] differently to its academic meaning and turned it into a pejorative term. Examples of behaviour described as virtue signalling include changing Facebook profile pictures to support a cause, participation in the Ice Bucket Challenge, offering thoughts and prayers after a tragedy, celebrity speeches during award shows, politicians pandering to constituents on ideological issues, and others.

WHATEVER!!

Virtue is a human concept. Made up. It doesn't exist.

While researching -- aka using Google -- the phrase "Virtue Signaling" I discovered a post-punk band called Aethans which in 2017 released an album called Virtue Signal which also happens to be the title of one of their songs.

Lookup the word inchoate. Lookup introvert. It goes well with argle-bargle.

Did I read the crowler label right? 9%!!!
