🎵 I discovered Michael Jackson in 1979 via his Off the Wall album, a year after our nth Barclays Bank move, this time from St. Lucia to Antigua. In 1982, Thriller album was a "thriller" of an album. Songs from this album dominated MTV, which we watched in our family room via a pirate satellite dish. All the middle/upper-middle class families on Antigua had satellite dishes. A year later in 1983, we moved again, to the backwater of St. Vincent & The Grenadines.
I enjoyed the song Thriller but more as a video production than a song. My favourite songs were "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin' and Billie Jean.
