  1. I thought there would be more but I Googled to read the history of this. It's a shame that schools do not teach the history of slavery and the efforts for freedom, the fighting that led to the civil war, and the struggle since. Even more a shame is the current administration threatening to withdraw funding from schools that teach this history.
