I saw the following in the replies and @mentions section of the micro.blog help page:

If you click or tap “Reply” on a post with Micro.blog, it stores the reply separately from your blog. We do this because you may not want replies to show up on your web site alongside other regular blog posts. Micro.blog includes the reply in the timeline and Mentions section for any user referenced in the post.

I know that new mico.blog timeline posts longer than 280 characters are converted to micro.blog blog posts. What happens to replies that are longer than 280 characters? Are they converted to a blog post? How do they display in the time? How are these long replies presented to the person I am responding to?
