I took a day off from work last week and spent some time with my kids outdoors. I originally planned to go hiking in the Sourland Mountain Range but my daughter hurt her leg earlier in the week so we took a stroll along the Plainsboro side of Carnegie Lake instead. We headed out to the lake after we had lunch at Osteria Procacinni. My son loves the pizza. While my daughter and I could only finish half of our pizza he ate the entire pie. We were visiting with my in-laws and the kids wanted pizza for dinner. The "grown-ups" were not thrilled with the idea of ordering what the kids wanted; Dominoes.
Bhavna had picked up some pizza dough at Trader Joe's ( the dough is labelled Trader Giotto's ) the day before so we encouraged the idea of making our own pizza. We experimented with toppings. I had ground turkey and extra cheese on mine.
The one pictured here is the one my father-in-law designed. Our master chef was my wife's brother-in-law. He can cook anything.
My Amazon Unbox experience has been terrible!
I tell my kids ( 9 and 7 ) "let's order a pizzaa and watch a movie". Yeah, Dad's a cool guy. Amazon tells me that the download will take 30 minutes to my TiVo. 1.5 hours later my kids and I are eating pizza and WE STILL HAVE NO MOVIE TO WATCH!!!!!
iTunes? I find a movie, place the order, and 10 minutes later we are watching an almost HD quality movie on my HDTV ( via my Mac mini ).
