Tree House Brewing Company's GGGreennn

I am drinking a GGGreennn by Tree House Brewing Company. The Graves hyperthyroidism is taking a toll. I’ve not had restful sleep all week. I’ve tried napping this afternoon to no avail. It’s almost siesta o’clock. Perhaps this will help. It’s juicy. And hoppy. Thank you Angel C

Brewer's notes

Green is a unequivocal new favorite at Tree House. Over the years we have resisted the urge to brew GGGreennn as we have worked very hard to make Green the very best beer it can be with a carefully refined base beer and very large kettle and dry hop additions. It's easy to overdo it, but over time we have learned how to adjust our process brewing the base beer to successfully accommodate larger and larger hop additions without imparting off putting characteristics.

For GGGreennn we pushed those principles to the extreme. The result is a richly hop saturated beer featuring notes of pineapple, guava, dried jackfruit, tropical fruit and citrus. It carries a richness about it that is unique to classic Green, and yet never challenges or tires the palate. It is a pleasure to drink all the way through the glass. It is a beer we are proud to share with you, and hopefully it can serve to enhance a meaningful moment for you this summer.

Tree House Brewing Company brews a vast array of ales. The offerings vary based on the season, our moods, and innovations discovered in the midst of day in and day out brewing. Our artisan brewery knows no bounds and we are driven by an intense curiosity of ingredients and how they blend together to create something special.

Brewer's notes

To celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Cook's Illustrated we got together with their team for a cross-industry collaboration. Illustrated IPA celebrates our shared focus on process and technique, while recognizing the distinct impact that the magazine had on Trillium co-founders JC and Esther Tetreault along their culinary and homebrewing journey.

This recipe showcases ingredients from both coasts - an array of malts from Hadley, MA's Valley Malt and singularly features El Dorado hops from Washington State. The beer pours a deep and hazy shade of yellow with a tight white head. Aromas of stone fruit and citrus lead off, with an underlying tropical note that increasingly reveals itself as you enjoy the beer. Layers of fruity sweetness hit on the palate with a note of balancing bitterness and floral spice from the Valley Malt Danko rye. Medium bodied and refreshing, with a pleasant drinkability.

We are a family owned and operated brewery in the Fort Point Channel neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. We created Trillium to realize our dream of bringing creative and flavorful beers to you. These beers are what we envision might have been made today, if a centuries old beer culture had naturally evolved in New England. To achieve this vision, we stand our craft beers on the shoulders of native ingredients and artisan practices, balancing them with modern-day expertise.
