July 16th, 2011 - Up in the air
I was at Great Adventure today (Six Flags to those outside of New Jersey) with my family. We attended an event to help 2011 JDRF Walk for the Cure team captains get started with their fund-raising campaign. After learning about new registration procedures for the year we were invited to make use of the park.
I used to love roller coasters. I used to love riding Rolling Thunder and the Scream Machine. No more. I suffer from bouts of vertigo and today I had a mild spell. When you can barely keep balance while standing still, it’s usually not a good idea to get onto a device designed to send my inner ear into warp factor six.
