We arrived from Oberlin, Ohio, just after 6:30 PM. Once we had checked into our room, we headed up to the fourth floor of The Kilbourne Hotel to check out the rooftop bar. While the bartender made us some "fizzy" cocktails we sat outside looking out at Lake Erie. The area below was buzzing with activity. During a conversation with a retired couple, we learned that Sandusky hosts a Free music concert at Jackson Street Pier every Thursday night during the summer.
