Port Brewing Company's Nelson the Greeter

I am drinking a Nelson the Greeter by Port Brewing Company at Montgomery Hills.

[exif id="34892"]

Beer: Nelson the Greeter
Style: IPA - American
Alcohol by volume (ABV): 6%
IBU: 0
My rating: 3.25/5
Venue: Montgomery Hills, NJ
Brewery: Port Brewing Company, San Marcos, CA, United States
Brewer's notes: Paying homage to a rather (in)famous surf spot/clothing optional beach in San Diego, Nelson the Greeter is the newest hoppy offering from Port Brewing. Using the brash flavors of Nelson hops to lead the charge, the Greeter has a strong hop supporting cast using Denali, Lemon Drop and Mosaic varietals to round out this pale ale. Notes of gooseberry and passionfruit dominate the nose with a clean tangerine and freshly cut stone fruit notes leading to a smooth, bitter, citrus finish. The pale ale will be quite the experience…kind of like a naked Nelson greeting you at the trail head.

Troon Brewing's Virtue Signaling

I am drinking a Virtue Signaling by Troon Brewing at Montgomery Hills.

From the Wikiepedia:

Within evolutionary biology, signalling theory is a body of theoretical work examining communication between organisms. It is concerned with honest signals. For example, a peacock's tail is an honest signal of his fitness, since a less fit peacock would only be able to produce a less spectacular tail.

Is this a session ale?

I need to start exercising more so I can continue to drink like this. Another awesome brew.

Beer: Virtue Signaling
Style: IPA - Imperial / Double
Alcohol by volume (ABV): 9.3%
IBU: 0
My rating: 4.5/5
Venue: Montgomery Hills, , NJ
Brewery: Troon Brewing, Hopewell, NJ, United States
