Brewer’s notes

Here’s a taste of South Jersey, better known for farms than fist pumping. Roasted and dark crystal malts shine through in a smooth and light-bodied porter that is balanced by a hint of sweetness thanks to the local Jersey Fresh honey. Welcome to the Garden State, bro. Apiology is the bee’s knees!

Cape May Brewing Company began with one simple question: Where’s all the beer down here?? With that in mind, we decided to provide South Jersey with fresh, delicious, local beer to put New Jersey on the map as a craft beer state.

In July 2011, we found our home at the Cape May Airport, excitedly purchased our forklift, and delivered our first keg of Cape May IPA to Cabanas Beach Bar and Grill. Since then, we’ve proudly brewed all our beers here, crafting balanced and flavorful ales and lagers for thousands of happy locals and visitors.

Throughout the year, hundreds of our beers can be found throughout the South Jersey and Philadelphia areas. We are proud to self-distribute our beers to hundreds of bars, restaurants, and liquor stores, ensuring premium freshness and excellent service. While the majority of our beers are only available on draft, we bottle several of our flagship brews as well as our recent, highly-acclaimed Barrel Aged Series.

Our Tasting Room is the largest and most accessible in the state, with a spacious and sunny Beer Garden. You can visit our gift shop, “The Brewtique,” and take our interactive, self-guided tour. While many production breweries are only open a few hours per week, we are open daily for tours and tastings.

We’d love for you to stop by!

Brewer’s notes

Wassail is known for warmth and spices. The tenth verse of our Twelve Beers of Christmas™ saga goes leaps and bounds beyond a traditional winter warmer, drawing inspiration from the dark, spiced ales from Belgium and our love for experimental brewing in SoCal. 10 Lords-A-Leaping is a dark imperial wit ale featuring 10 different spices – coriander, orange peel, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, allspice, mace, anise, dried apples and cloves, which complement the spiced notes imparted from the yeast and prance upon the rich, dark fruited character of the specialty malts.

We are a boutique craft brewery located in Orange County, California specializing in experimental and barrel aged beer. Our name is a fusion of ‘brewery’ with our family name, Rue.

Our calling is to create beers with character and depth using the simplest and purest of means. We strive to use unconventional ingredients, and we will proudly state what we put in our beers.

We enjoy serving you, your friends and your family.

Brewer’s notes

Springtime at the Jersey Shore: where one day we’re pounded by snow and the next it’s 75 and the beaches are full. Once the cold breaks, what’s more refreshing than a sweet and tart Cherry Limeade Shandy? Inspired by deconstructing a snow cone, Foreshore washes your palate with sweet cherries then balances the next gulp with a firm lime presence, all with the refreshing finish of a shandy. So whether you’re rockin’ out to ‘NSync at your favorite beach bar’s No-Shower Happy Hour or getting in a gym sesh with your bros, Foreshore is sure to quench even the harshest thirst.
