Real Cameras?

A camera is a camera and a phone is a phone. It’s as simple as that. The fact that this is the year 2020 doesn’t change anything about that.

Why do I write this? Because I think that everybody who thinks that the phone is good enough to cover our special moments in life is wrong. Terribly wrong. ~ 666 – The Real Thing

Would the special moments that I have captured with my iPhone(s) over the years have more emotional meaning and impact if only I had a "real camera" at that moment?

Does J.K. Rowling wonder if her stories would have been even more impactful had she written them on a real typewriter instead of a computer keyboard? What if she had used a Montblanc fountain pen?

The quote from the blog post above is photographic snobbery.

Dan, Nathan and I were supposed to go camping, hiking, and watching the Jalopy races last spring. Then I had two eye surgeries, so we postponed to Spring 2020. Then COVID happened. ☹
