Rainbow Crosswalk

In the fall of 2018, the City of Asbury Park unveiled a rainbow-striped crosswalk on Asbury Avenue in front of the Empress Hotel. The crosswalk was supposed to be temporary and created by resolution to promote awareness of LGBTQ issues in Asbury Park and timed to coincide with Garden State Equality Equality Walk. It is now permanent.

The crosswalk leads to the defunct Carousel House.

I pushed the colour just a bit in Adobe Lightroom. I use the subject selection masking tool to isolate the carousel, inverted the mask, and played around with the shadow and highlight sliders in Adobe Lightroom to get the final image.
