What a year it has been. Difficult doesn't begin to describe the pains we have each felt in our own way. I am fortunate to have had someone to share this godforsaken year with. It seems that you too have had someone to lean on when you needed them most, and from what it sounds like when they needed you.

"A picture is worth a thousand words" is as cliched as it is lazy, but many of your photographs speak volumes about the highs and lows of this year. The simple joys that got us through the days, and the pains of mundanity.

Your photographs, taken on Avalon beach with Ektachrome 100 feel out of time, perfectly encapsulating the collective time warp that saw days melt away into weeks, weeks into years, years into a lifetime. God, it really has been a long year.

If I had to pic a favorite, it would have to be the NYC skyline. The colors are brilliant and I'm once again reminded that my phone is a camera.

Happy New Year Khürt!

P.S. Alfie and Camilla are adorable.
