March 22, 2011 - Remember ...

I shoot so often with my 35mm f/1.8 DX Nikkor (52mm FX equivalent) that I had forgotten that I had another lens. While using Flipboard to flip through the Flickr stream of my contacts ( and aptly named app - oh oh, the puns are flowing ) I suddenly realised I had not done any macro shots in a while. I don't have a dedicated macro lens but I do have a Nikkor 18-55mm VR lens that I bought to replace my kits lens. It was around 6 PM and I had just arrived home from work. I had not taken the camera out all day. I swapped lenses and photographed the first thing that caught my eye. I had photographed these last week with the 35mm. To add a little difference to the photos I processed this one as a HDR from a single RAW image.
