March 23, 2011 - Making the best of it.

I think this is the first time I've posted a 365 photo this early in the day. Like most people in the Princeton area, I awoke this morning to falling snow. One week into Spring and Mother Nature throws us a curveball. It must be March Madness. After a week of photographing my garden patch, I had hoped to walk around the neighbourhood and maybe grabs some photos from other gardens. At first, I was disappointed because the snow had ruined my day. But then I realised that I had never taken a shot of flowers in the snow. So back out I went with the camera. The ground is all wet and slushy and muddy, so I could not get down on my knees, and I usually do. So I laid the camera down and shot blindly, hoping that it would focus and something would come from it.
