Shaan and Kiran have been taking swim classes at the YMCA in Princeton since July. Shaan was very afraid of the water at first but has progressed quite well.

He now jumps into the pool's deep end and appears to be quite comfortable in the water. The instructor uses a cute naming convention for how well the students do. Shaan just graduated from "pike" to "pollywog".

Kiran had no problem going into the water initially but did NOT like getting her face wet.

The swim classes have been a confidence booster for both kids. Now Shaan wants to play soccer and is more willing to try new things. Kiran now puts her head under the water.
