Isolation Photo Project, Day 41

What a beautiful day it was today! The bright, sunny skies and warmer spring temperatures made everything feel much better. Even though I didn't get a chance to go outside for any hikes or walks in nearby parks, I'm still grateful for the gorgeous weather. Today was the first day of easing COVID-19 restrictions and although I was a bit apprehensive about being around people this is a positive sign for things to come.

I've been feeling like I've been spending way too much time on the couch lately, so I've been trying to find ways to get more exercise. I enjoyed the British interpretation of the classic alien invasion story, Even though I did spend most of the afternoon on the sofa watching "War of the Worlds" on EPIX.

I felt a bit uninspired with my photography lately. Still, this morning I decided to attach my Soligor Wide-Auto 35mm f/2.8 to the M42 adapter for the Fuji X-Mount, and it was so much fun practising my manual focusing skills. It's great to challenge myself and learn new things!

Bhavna had a great idea to fire up the grill, but we realized we had no burgers. So, we called Griggstown Farm Market to check availability, then drove over and picked up some delicious turkey burgers. On the way, we saw this beautiful, recently renovated home on River Road, and we just had to pull over and take a photo.

Overall, it was a great day full of optimism and positivity!
