I am concerned that, because some restrictions have been eased, a large number of the general public feel safer and are not as careful as they once wore. Whereas before, I would see people walk around Princeton with masks, or cross the street to avoid each other if the sidewalks have no room, now I see mask-free people jogging or walking past each other. I don't feel safe.
The virus doesn't care if some people want to be mask-free. It spreads anyway. The virus hasn't become less infectious, but some people have just decided to accept risk for others. I see the number of infected spiking again around the state and I wonder, "are Americans incapable of community living"?
One of the reasons that I bought the Fujinon XF27mmF2.8 lens was that I wanted a light kit for "walkabout" photography. What do I mean by "walkabout" photography? The term is inclusive of street photography, backyard barbecues, birthday parties, a day trip to New York City, etc. I had long wanted a Fuji XF100F for that purpose. After renting an X100F and the XF27mmF.8 lens last year, I realised that the X-T2 and XF27mmF.8 combination was just over 100g heavier than the X100F/X100V alone. I don't notice the difference.

Inconsiderate people run on the narrow park trails. The height of stupidity.
It's one reason I have not posted any trips to the woods lately. When we drive by and we see too many cars parked to make hiking the trail safe we move on.
I think we've learned that passing others by on the street is not very risky. Even if they are carrying the virus, the half second we're in their air is probably not enough for us to contract it. The air outdoors does a pretty good job of dispersing whatever they're putting out.
What does gall me is the sheer numbers of people here who don't mask up at the store. Whatever a carrier is putting into the air in any enclosed space doesn't disperse as well and the HVAC will just keep circulating it.
I consider myself to be a pretty empathetic, understanding fellow but I just simply cannot understand why people won't wear a frigging mask.
