The Impossible WHOPPER

Although I'm a carnivore, I am a fan of the Impossible Foods Burger. I have had the Impossible Foods burger prepared at Houlihan's, White Castle, and Bare Burger. At Bare Burger, I had it made with the traditional bun but also in a low-carb collard green wrap. The Bare Burger has been my favourite.

Recently Burger King started offering the Impossible WHOPPER at some of their restaurants around New Jersey, one of which is near my office in Iselin, New Jersey.

From what I have read online, many people, including some who have not even tried it, don't like the Impossible Burger because of how the product is made.

I did my own testing. I discovered that DoorDash has a deal where I could use a coupon code to sample both the standard beef Whopper and the Impossible Whopper for $7. I ordered an all-beef Whopper and Impossible Whopper and ate them both.

In my opinion, the Impossible Whopper is better than the beef Whopper. Hand down. But don't just take my word for it. Try it for yourself.

  1. @islandinthenet.com I’ve been to a few more expensive vegan places and the results were all over the place. Some did it well, in others the Impossible patty disintegrated. I actually expect BK to produce a consistent quality product more than I would a smaller shop that does these less regularly.

  3. @khurtwilliams that’s a nice endorsement. I’m still waiting on that thing to arrive in Germany. There are a couple of copycats and i actually made burgers with one of them today but even hours later I can still taste the patty, something that doesn’t happen with the Impossible burger. I always pick restaurants that carry it when I’m in the U.S.
