nice article my friend.

another friend of mine lend me a MacPro for 2 weeks to try this Lion and so far I'm enjoying the experience.

Two things are annoying me:

One
death of Spaces. I grew accustomed to a precise (and functionally to me) six spaces workplace (3 columns * 2 rows). Every kind of application in it's workspace ... Mail & Thunderbird on space-2, web browser just under in space-5 and such.

Now with mission control and the new 1 row placement of spaces/desktops I have to change my habit.

Also, sometime a friend ask me for help, so I move it's chat window and a terminal, or a different browser, or a specific software in space-4 (to say) working there. In the meantime the other Skype / MSN / gTlak window is open on the "main" space. Using Expose moving up&down single, specific window was easy.

Now I do have to specifically select a space and then move out the window I want/need to.

Two
Resume.
While I can admit that it's useful to start working on a project again the morning after, on multi-poupose workstations this isn't true. I do open a LOT of different apps, for different reasons and it's not pleasant to open that personal annotation in front of a colleague asking you to read / modify together a paper.

Or I did open a "lolcat" image and then my boss comes and asks me to view that pdf memorandum.

Did I get the idea ?
