In 1824 Thomas Jefferson deemed coffee "the favorite drink of the civilised world." Monticello.org
Thomas Jefferson was born April 13, 1743, at Shadwell, Virginia and died July 4, 1826, Monticello. I started reading more about him recently. Just because. I found some of the information fascinating.
Thomas Jefferson -- author of the Declaration of Independence and the Statute of Virginia for Religious Freedom, third president of the United States, and founder of the University of Virginia -- voiced the aspirations of a new America as no other individual of his era. As a public official, historian, philosopher, and plantation owner, he served his country for over five decades.Monticell.org
Today I'm drinking Allegro Coffee Roasters Sumatra-Lintong coffee from Whole Foods. Bhavana liked it. She noted that the taste had hints of fruit. I think this heavy-bodied coffee had notes of grapefruit and fresh herbs.
The mug I picked up in Washington, D.C., a few years ago, during a family vacation.
I've enjoyed shooting with my AF-S Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 recently. The bokeh at f/2.8 is lovely.
