Cape May Brewing Company's Foreshore Shandy

I am drinking a Foreshore Shandy by Cape May Brewing Company. Refreshing.

I am in Uno Pizzeria & Grill - Hamilton, drinking Foreshore Shandy by Cape May Brewing Company. Cape May Brewing Company is a Micro Brewery in Cape May, NJ. Foreshore Shandy beer style is Fruit Beer, with an ABV of 5% and IBU of 15. I gave Foreshore Shandy a 3.75 on Untappd's 5 point rating system.

Refreshing.

Brewer's notes

Springtime at the Jersey Shore: where one day we're pounded by snow and the next it's 75 and the beaches are full. Once the cold breaks, what's more refreshing than a sweet and tart Cherry Limeade Shandy? Inspired by deconstructing a snow cone, Foreshore washes your palate with sweet cherries then balances the next gulp with a firm lime presence, all with the refreshing finish of a shandy. So whether you're rockin’ out to 'NSync at your favorite beach bar’s No-Shower Happy Hour or getting in a gym sesh with your bros, Foreshore is sure to quench even the harshest thirst.

Cape May Brewing Company began with one simple question: Where’s all the beer down here?? With that in mind, we decided to provide South Jersey with fresh, delicious, local beer to put New Jersey on the map as a craft beer state.

In July 2011, we found our home at the Cape May Airport, excitedly purchased our forklift, and delivered our first keg of Cape May IPA to Cabanas Beach Bar and Grill. Since then, we’ve proudly brewed all our beers here, crafting balanced and flavorful ales and lagers for thousands of happy locals and visitors.

Throughout the year, hundreds of our beers can be found throughout the South Jersey and Philadelphia areas. We are proud to self-distribute our beers to hundreds of bars, restaurants, and liquor stores, ensuring premium freshness and excellent service. While the majority of our beers are only available on draft, we bottle several of our flagship brews as well as our recent, highly-acclaimed Barrel Aged Series.

Our Tasting Room is the largest and most accessible in the state, with a spacious and sunny Beer Garden. You can visit our gift shop, “The Brewtique,” and take our interactive, self-guided tour. While many production breweries are only open a few hours per week, we are open daily for tours and tastings.

We’d love for you to stop by!
