What is a Rangefinder Camera, and is one right for you?

My first digital camera was a rangefinder but I've never shot with a film rangefinder. From reading this article I have gained a better understanding of the advantages and limitations of rangefinders. I think these types of cameras are most likely something I would not enjoy using. Too many limitations, for example, on framing and lenses. I have no interest in seeing what is about to enter the frame. I just want to capture it when it does.

2018 was the first year that I really felt that Lewis Hamilton could lose the F1 world championship. Hopefully, Mercedes and the drivers have learned from the mistakes made and that both drivers and car have improved for 2019. But I must admit it was excited to see some of the races where I was not sure who would stand on the podium, Vettel, Hamilton, Kimi, etc.

You want the best — meaning the most capable, the cutting edge-est device, because who knows how you’re going to use it next week, or next month?

But the weird thing, to me, is that “the best” sounds really objective. There can be only one best.

And that’s nonsense. That’s complete nonsense.
