In past years, I would normally see dozens of crocus, tulips, and other bulbs. I had planted them when my children were kids. But I have seen chipmunks scurrying between my garden, across my driveway to the garden next door and back. I think over the last few years; the chipmunks may have decimated the bulbs. They don't seem to bother the daffodils, squills, hyacinths and snowdrops.

I have been trying to transition the garden patch to native plants species. But that has a different challenge: deer.
